We recognize that becoming a skilled expert takes time and practice. Our 3 training options will help you learn new skills and build on your already-existing skillset.
Clinicians tell us they prefer to learn the basics independently and then be coached in various ways to build and consolidate skill. We developed online learning modules to introduce core topics. We then provide real-time observation with direct feedback first in a simulated training environment and afterward during clinical encounters with your patients and families.
“As someone who uses serious illness conversation skills daily in my role as a palliative care physician… being coached and having the opportunity to practice these skills in a safe and supportive environment was practice changing. I would recommend this course to any and all healthcare professionals.”
-Jennifer, Attending Physician, UHN
