The Conversation Lab’s Dr. Warren Lewin was recently awarded a 2023 Award of Excellence from the College of Family Physicians of Canada recognizing his leadership in creating The Conversation Lab to address system-level gaps in education and that will ultimately lead to higher quality care for patients and families living with serious illness.
More locally, he also received the Innovation in Education Award as part of the 2023 Cancer Education Awards at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto. The award acknowledges an individual or team who has contributed to an exceptional and innovative educational program or experience for learners in the Princess Margaret Cancer Program. Award winners use creative learning tools or strategies, foster a supportive learning environment, and stimulate critical thinking and problem solving through mentorship and innovative approach.
