Learning Opportunities
We recognize that becoming a skilled expert takes time and practice. Our training options will help you learn new skills and practice them in a variety of settings.
Clinicians tell us they prefer to learn the basics independently and then be coached in various ways to build and consolidate skill. We developed online learning modules to introduce core topics. We then provide real-time observation with direct feedback, first in a VitalTalk-powered simulated training environment, and afterward during clinical encounters with patients and their families.
Modules are for educational purposes only.
“After only a few hours of teaching, this workshop completely transformed my clinical practice and increased my confidence in having conversations about serious illness. I continue to use these skills every day and would highly recommend this training to any learner.”
-Natalie, PGY3 Enhanced Skills UofT Resident
